My Journey to This Work
I have always been the person in my family who naturally steps up to help when someone is nearing the end of their life. For years, I was the go-to support for family and friends facing these challenges, but it was my father’s passing in 2015 that profoundly shifted my perspective and planted the seed for a new calling.
Years later, after my husband and I sold our construction business in 2023, I took time to reflect. A family member asked me what I would do if money were no object, and my answer surprised us both: “I would work in hospice, but I am not a nurse.” The idea seemed impossible until a friend suggested I look into becoming a Death Doula. That suggestion was a spark that lit the path for my journey.
I dove into researching training programs and became a certified Doulagivers End of Life Doula. In April 2024, I opened my practice here in Albuquerque to serve our community and the State of New Mexico. It is my honor to offer a gentle, guiding presence to families during this sacred time.

My Approach & Philosophy
As a Certified Death Doula, I believe life’s final chapter is a sacred journey and one of life’s greatest mysteries.
My purpose is to be a compassionate companion who bears witness to your family’s experience, helping to ensure a transition of peace and dignity.
I am honored to offer this gentle, non-medical support to the Albuquerque metro area and the State of New Mexico.
My Role as Your Doula
As a Death Doula and End-of-Life Planning Professional, my role is to offer holistic, non-medical support for the entire family. I am here to help you navigate this journey with gentleness and respect.
My approach often begins with gentle guidance, helping you articulate your wishes for the future to bring a sense of peace and intention to the path ahead. This can include creating meaningful legacy projects, which provide a beautiful way to honor a life lived and keep your loved one’s stories and presence alive for years to come.
In the final chapter, my most sacred role is to be a steady presence through the vigil. I offer continuous companionship, ensuring that in the quiet hours, your loved one is held in a space of peace and is never alone.
